Blad Moreno

Blad Moreno is a venezuelan singer, sketch writer and improvisational actor/director, he had been studying opera singing in Miguel Angel Espinel Music School and The Simon Bolivar National Conservatory as part of El Sistema de Orquestas in Venezuela, currently he performs in his two ensembles of traditional Venezuelan Music, “3 y Cuatro” and “Buena Gente”. Blad had being tutor by Héctor Manrique, Elia Schneider, Armando Alvarez, Omar Argentino Galvan, Deby Low and Guillermo Díaz Yuma as part of the Experimental Theater Workshop School of Acting, Centro TET. Since 2009 he is a player of the Venezuelan Improv League, on 2011 he has got the International Diploma of Improvisational Theater at El Bosque University in Bogotá, Colombia. Coming back to Venezuela he has created “Fractal” the first Long Form in his country and “La Caimanera”, an improv tournament performed on the streets, and open to everyone who wants to play. And produced the 1st International Improv festival in Venezuela.
He has being part of the cast of ImproMath, Improchamos (Improv for children), Perdon Ahí Vamos de Nuevo, Maestro, Fractal, Improvisaciones Mínimas, el Show de.., Impro Big Band en Buenos Aires.
Blad taught Improv theater in the most important cultural institutions in Venezuela; Ateneo de Caracas, Centro Cultural Chacao, Centro de Arte La Estancia, Universidad de Los Andes and all around Venezuela, creating new groups in several cities of his country.
Blad is a creative consultant and facilitator using Improv in business environments to developed "soft skills", working in Venezuela with the workforce of Firestone, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Telefónica, Bayer, Roche, Takeda, Banco Mercantil, Empresas Polar among others.
He is currently a student of the Second City Training Center Conservatory Program.
