Chicago improviser: Sam Bowers

Sam Bowers

Sam Bowers started his professional improv career at 19 years old after getting hired by CSz San Jose. Since then, Sam has toured the country playing ComedySportz from coast to coast, competing (and losing) in four consecutive World Championships. Sam serves as the Creative Director of Video for CSz Worldwide. Sam has also served as the Program Director of The iO Comedy Network, a writer for Reductress, and from 2011-2016 as the host of the longest running satirical news program on YouTube, Lamestream Media. Sam can currently be seen teaching video classes at The Second City Training Center and playing every Thursday at 1030 at iO Chicago with his team LL Cool Beans, the longest-running champion in iO Cagematch history (14 weeks).
